Spicy Pork Chops

Pork chops in a spicy marinade of red wine, rosemary, coriander, nutmeg and cloves then grilled

Ingredients

4 pork loin chops, rind removed

1 cup dry red wine

1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary

1 teaspoon ground coriander

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 cup olive oil

freshly ground pepper, to taste

Method

Combine red wine, rosemary, coriander, nutmeg and cloves in a shallow container

Add chops to the marinade, cover and refrigerate overnight

Heat the grill

Remove the chops from the marinade and pat dry, then brush with the oil and lightly sprinkle with the pepper

Grill 6 to 10 minutes each side until cooked

Serves 4
