Combine custard powder and sugar

Mix until smooth with 1/4 cup of measured milk

Pour remaining milk into a saucepan

Gently heat until almost boiling

Remove from heat

Pour onto custard mixture, stirring to combine

Add egg

Pour the custard into the saucepan

Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens

Put custard powder and sugar into a bowl
