Cheesy Oat Loaf
A loaf made with oats, bran, cheese and wholemeal flour
Ingredients
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup Fleming's rolled oats
1 cup baking bran
1 cup grated tasty cheese
1 cup wholemeal flour
1/2 cup Edmonds plain baking flour
4 teaspoons Edmonds baking powder
Method
Beat the eggs in a bowl with milk and oil
Add salt, sugar, oats, bran, cheese and wholemeal flour
Sift in flour and baking powder
Mix well to combine
Spoon into a greased and lined 22 cm loaf tin
Bake at 180 C for 45-50 minutes or until loaf springs back when lightly touched
Leave in tin for 10 minutes before turning out onto a cooling rack
Yield 1 loaf
